The good thing about Azuga (and we know you'll love this) is that it has the longest ski run in Romania and a famous beer brand with the same name as the town. Baisoara Ski Resort

Baisoara (Járabánya in Hungarian, Kleingrub in German) is a winter sports resort in Cluj County.

Baisoara Ski Resort is located in Muntele Mare (Big Mountain, in English), 50 km SW of Cluj-Napoca, the capital city of Cluj County.

You can enjoy snow from early December untill late April but be sure to check the snow forecast before you go.

Paltinis Ski Resort

This is the firts mountain resort in Romania to get snow every year and the last to melt it away so if you love skiing and snowboarding it’s the best place to go to during winter.

Think about this: Paltinis stands at 2000 m over the sea level and the Carpathian mountains are just beautiful there.
