Museums - Must See in Bucharest

The Peasants Museum, located minutes away from the Government office, is the best place for you to visit. Why? Because is one of the best Romanian museums. Because it was awarded in 1996 the European Museum of the Year Award...
So go check your Guinness Book and see that:

2. Only second largest building after the Pentagon.
3. It is the most EXPENSIVE building in the world.
4. It contains the world’s biggest carpet.
5. It contains the world’s biggest chandelier, and second, and the third.
Known as Bucharest's most beautifull building, the Athenaeum hosts the George Enescu Philarmonic Orchestra. Seeing a concert here is highly recommended.
If the Peasant Museum is an indoor exhibition of Romanian folklore, the Village Museum is an open-air one. All you need is fine weather and you'll be able to enjoy an 15 hectares open-air parc containing more than 60 traditional homes, windmills,barns or churches from all Romanian regions.
The National Museum of Art is hosted by the former Royal Palace and it is the most representative art gallery in Romania. It is located in downtown Bucharest in the Revolution Square (Piata Revolutiei).
